Happy Mother's Day!!

It was a Monday afternoon, after attending all the lectures I was fully exhausted and was left with some energy. But then too I didn’t want to miss the 4:09 Thane train from Nerul as I could get a seat to sit and go comfortably. As I reached the station train had already arrived, so I boarded and took a window seat. Two women also entered the same compartment along with three adorable kids with them and they took the seat in front of me. Three of them were having fun, playing and giving each other beautiful smiles, looking at those smiles made me forget all my exhaustion. Kids have this super power to always make us smile even if we are going through a lot. Suddenly one of the kid falls down and he gets hit by the seat beside me and her mom was least bothered for that moment so that he stops crying in sometime. Quarantine is your Time!!

As our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that we all have to stay at our home for the coming 3 Weeks i.e. a 21-day nationwide “curfew”, or a lockdown, to contain the spread of COVID-19. We all got relieved that the virus won't spread as we have to stay home to fight against them and maintain proper hygiene. Students were happy as they were free from lectures of college, exams got postponed, no more VIVA’s nor submission of assignments. Now simply they could watch their favourite movies and series by chilling at home. Working people were happy as they don’t have to rush office in crowded trains and buses, they don’t need to worry about meeting their deadlines, they could spend some quality time with their family and relax for some time at home. We live in a world of internet where communication is so easy and cheap. No doubt you might have made some friends over Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and what not. But if you believe them to be your true friends, then sorry to tell you that you have not understood the real meaning of true friendship.
