Quarantine is your Time!!

As our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that we all have to stay at our home for the coming 3 Weeks i.e. a 21-day nationwide “curfew”, or a lockdown, to contain the spread of COVID-19. We all got relieved that the virus won't spread as we have to stay home to fight against them and maintain proper hygiene. Students were happy as they were free from lectures of college, exams got postponed, no more VIVA’s nor submission of assignments. Now simply they could watch their favourite movies and series by chilling at home. Working people were happy as they don’t have to rush office in crowded trains and buses, they don’t need to worry about meeting their deadlines, they could spend some quality time with their family and relax for some time at home.

As, the days passed and the time we had already lost watching Netflix, Prime, Hotstar and what not. We completed watching all the movies and series we wanted to watch, but forgot that it was our time and wasted it a lot. Such golden hours won’t come again so making use of it in a productive or unproductive way depends on you as its your time and you own it. Now, if you're regretting for the time that has been already lost, stop doing that and at least make use of the time you have in your hand.

We got you, that we have to make use of the time for our growth and utilize it more fruitfully, but we don’t have a clue what we to have do?

Firstly, I would say that you should analyse yourself by making a note of all your strengths and weakness, all the opportunities available for you and even the threats. After noting them down just find out remedies which will help you to overcome your weakness and things that will help you to avoid your threats. As you get to know the opportunities available for you, so find out the things that will help you to exploit them using your strengths.

In this hectic life some have not spent much time on their passion, while some haven’t yet discovered their passion. If you have any kind of passion, then just think whether your passion can pay your check. If you got to know how it can, then work on it. You’re among the one who doesn’t know what is your passion, then ask yourself a simple question that “What is that one thing that you can do it for free and that will make you happy instantly?”

Inculcate the habit of reading at least 30 minutes a day. No matter whether you read a book or a blog or an article or a newspaper or anything else, what matters is whether your reading or not! You know why you have to read because it keeps you updated, it helps you to know what is going around the world, it helps you to think more border. Read daily to Grow daily.

We all are on holiday due to lockdown, but our mothers aren’t. We wake up at any time we want and we get our breakfast ready in our hand. Our mothers are still washing our clothes, preparing food, cleaning house. Don’t you think at least now we should share some work with her and give her some rest? We all might say I don’t know to cook nor to wash clothes. So, let's make it as an opportunity to learn them as we never know when all this might help us.

Take out your Wishlist if you have made any, saying that I want to learn all these things whenever I get some time. So it's the right time to learn and practice them. If you don’t have any Wishlist no need to worry. As you can learn to read, write and speak in your mother tongue or any other language, Drawing, Sketching, Yoga, Story-writing, Story-Telling, Graphic Designing, and many more things you wish to learn.

So, don’t just watch movies/series, eat, sleep and repeat, also make use of the precious time available in your hand to make yourself a better person than every day. The best friend and foe of a person is “YOU” so decide yourself whether you want to be your friend or foe.

Think and Be the Change!!
